Training
Cooperation from the beginning
One important element in the cooperation between the FABEC partners is the cooperation among training institutions, which has already borne fruit in the first few months. Today, the future air traffic controllers of the Maastricht Control Centre are already being trained at the partner organisations.
Basic courses for Eurocontrol ab initio students, common system rating training for CNS technicians, implementation of a competency-based assessment system – these are three visible areas of ongoing cooperation between the training providers in FABEC. Based on long-standing relations and experience, the training domain started its journey inside FABEC right at the beginning.
