City Pairs
City pairs are specified routes between two major airports: a departure and a destination airport. Within the geographic area of FABEC, those city pairs symbolize for aircraft operators the inefficiency of ATC in general, particularly in terms of great circle distance; they are the 50 most penalized city pairs (50 MPCP). Aircraft operators are urging to reduce route extensions between these major European airports.
